An Academy Lecture on “FMDV Impacts on Veterinary Farming in Bangladesh: It’s Past, Present and Future” to be presented by Prof. Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain, Fellow, Bangladesh Academy of Sciences (BAS) and Fellow, The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) & Professor, Department of Microbiology, University of Dhaka. This Academy Lecture organized by the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences will be held on Wednesday, 28 May 2025 at 09:45 am at the ASVM Seminar Gallery, Faculty of Animal Sciences & Veterinary Medicine (2nd floor), Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Sher-e-Bangla nagar, Dhaka 1207. 

Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) Prof. Dr. ASM Matiur Rahman, Fellow, Bangladesh Academy of Sciences has graciously consented to attend the Lecture as the Chief Guest. 

Prof. Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam, Dean, Faculty of Animal Sciences & Veterinary Medicine, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University has kindly agreed to attend the Lecture as the Special Guest. 

Dr. Khan Shahidul Huque, Fellow, Bangladesh Academy of Sciences will preside over the occasion. 

The event will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Mirza Hasanuzzaman, Fellow, Bangladesh Academy of Sciences.
