An Academy Lecture on “Migratory birds facilitate the global transmission of multidrug-resistant pathogenic Escherichia coli and other pathogens” to be presented by Prof. Dr. Emdadul Haque Chowdhury, Fellow, BAS & former Vice Chancellor, Bangladesh Agricultural University. This Academy Lecture organized by the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences will be held on Thursday, 30 October 2025 at 10:30 am at the BC7002, Lecture Gallery, Lift Button 6, Academic main building, Independent University, Bangladesh,

Prof. Dr. Zahurul Karim, President, Bangladesh Academy of Sciences has graciously consented to attend the Lecture as the Chief Guest.
Dr. Ashrafus Safa, Head, Dept. of Life Sciences, School of Environment and Life Sciences, Independent University, Bangladesh will preside over the occasion.
