The World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA) has honoured Professor Dr. Emdadul Haque Chowdhury, a distinguished poultry pathologist and academic leader from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), and Fellow, Bangladesh Academy of Sciences (BAS) through his induction into the WVPA Hall of Honour 2025 in recognition of his outstanding contributions to poultry veterinary science.

Prof. Golam Abu Zakaria was on the return journey from a visit to Wiehl's twin town of Crimmitschau when he reached the happy customer via SMS: The International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP) gives him the Harold Johns Medal 2025. This is the most important international award in the field of medical physics. The importance of the medal is correspondingly high, and his joy is correspondingly great.
