Popular Science Lecture on "Genome Editing''

A Popular Science Lecture on "Genome Editing'' to be presented by Prof. Dr. Md. Tofazzal Islam, Fellow, BAS and Founding Director, Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (IBGE), Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU). This Popular Science Lecture organized by the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences will be held on Thursday, 22 February 2024 at 11:00 am at Shelley A. Mubdi Gallery (Room no. 550), East West University, Jahurul Islam City, Aftabnagar, Dhaka-1212. 

Major General (Rtd.) Prof. Dr. ASM Matiur Rahman, Fellow, Bangladesh Academy of Sciences has graciously consented to attend the Popular Science Lecture as the Chief Guest. 

Prof. Dr. Ashik Mosaddik, Pro-Vice Chancellor, East West University has kindly agreed to attend the Popular Science Lecture as the Special Guest. 

Dr. Suraia Nusrin, Chairperson, Dept. of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, East West University will preside over the occasion.
