an Academy Lecture on “Heavy Metal Contamination in Foods and Health Risk Implications in Bangladesh” to be presented by Dr. M. Rafiqul Islam, Fellow, BAS, Former Professor, Department of Soil Science, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. This Academy Lecture organized by the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences will be held on Tuesday, 28 May 2024 at 11:00 am at the SAURES Auditorium, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka 1207.
Emeritus Prof. Dr. AK Azad Chowdhury, President, Bangladesh Academy of Sciences has graciously consented to attend the Lecture as the Chief Guest.
Prof. Dr. Md. Shahidur Rashid Bhuiyan, Vice-Chancellor, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University has kindly agreed to attend the Lecture as the Guest of Honor.
Prof. Dr. Zahurul Karim, Vice President, Bangladesh Academy of Sciences will preside over the occasion.
