An Academy Lecture on “Impact of Climate Change on Aquaculture and Fisheries in Bangladesh”. The speaker is Prof. Dr. Gulshan Ara Latifa, Fellow of BAS and Member, Bangladesh Accreditation Council and former Professor, Department of Zoology, University of Dhaka. This Academy Lecture organized by the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences will be held on Wednesday, 28 January 2026 at 11:00 am at the Professor Dr. Mahmud-ul Amin Auditorium, Department of Zoology, University of Dhaka.
Prof. Dr. ZN Tahmida Begum, Vice President of BAS, Former Chairman, BPSC and Pro-Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University has graciously consented to attend the Lecture as the Chief Guest.
Prof. Dr. Shefali Begum, Chairman, Department of Zoology, University of Dhaka will preside over the occasion.
The event will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Yearul Kabir, Secretary of BAS.
